The plague was a bad thing, but through this plague, we have gained a clearer understanding of the situation of the world and the country, and the relationship between the collective and the individual: 1. If the epidemic had not spread worldwide, and if there had not been a comparison between China's and European and American countries' responses to the epidemic, we would still not have seen the dawn of "national rejuvenation", "the Chinese Dream", and "a community with a shared future for mankind". 2. This epidemic has made us deeply aware of the importance of the national government in our lives. Like sunlight and air, it is often overlooked, yet it realistically affects our quality of life and feelings. Respecting one's collective is a prerequisite for gaining respect, and integrating into the collective and creating value for the collective is the only way to realize one's life value. So, how to integrate into the collective, avoid confrontation between individuals and the collective, avoid the phenomenon of mental and physical division, and establish collective self-esteem or a collective sense of honor and disgrace is the topic I want to talk about today. Last year, I proposed that our management should undergo transformation. There are many reasons for this management transformation. In addition to internal reasons such as the fact that the first generation of company founders are gradually reaching retirement age and the handover of responsibilities is imminent, another important reason is that the external environment has changed, or more specifically, the times have changed. What is the external environment that profoundly affects us? First, the international situation. I estimate that most people don't feel this, thinking that it has little to do with them. Second, the domestic situation. The country has carried out major reforms in financial and tax management: on the one hand, it has significantly reduced taxes and fees, with the value-added tax reduced from 17% to 13% and the social security enterprise contribution rate reduced from 31.5% to 25.6%. Today, I want to say that not only should enterprises transform, but each of us should also transform the value of our lives, transforming from simply living to living a valuable life. This is also a requirement of the times for every Chinese person. We must enhance our collective sense of honor and disgrace, strive to achieve a balance and unity between the individual and the collective, and achieve unity of mind and body. We must maintain high patriotic dedication and the sentiment of making contributions, and improve our personal income, life dignity, and social value through making contributions. Although we do not agree with or feel ashamed of the performance of some individuals with mental and physical divisions during the epidemic, in fact, most of us will have more or less such problems, such as: weak national consciousness, believing that the good or bad of the country has nothing to do with oneself; knowing that petty theft is shameful, but not thinking that taking advantage of the country is equally shameful; only knowing that working is for making money, only formally joining the company, not actively integrating into the team, and never thinking about sharing weal and woe with the company. The above are all manifestations of a lack of collective consciousness and an imbalance and disunity between individual and collective interests. That is to say, we all need to adhere to the long-term practice of collective consciousness. At the beginning of the year, by chance, I read a booklet promoting Buddhism from Donghua Temple. The title of the book is "Virtue in the World", and the back cover is the Donghua family motto: "Believe in religion first, love the country; learn Buddhism first, be a person; cultivate the Tao first, have a heart." These three sentences highly summarize the content of the book: how to cultivate and attain the Tao, first of all, is to have a heart, that is, to establish the social value of one's cultivation of Buddhism and religion, which is to cultivate for a better society. Secondly, cultivation should start with learning to be a person, constantly improving one's ability in virtue and conduct. Finally, realizing one's social value is called attaining the Tao. Don't you all feel familiar with these ideas? Aren't they completely consistent with our business philosophy? The ideals of Hebei Jingzhi are to allow customers to obtain more value and to achieve energy saving and environmental protection, making society better. The manifestation of values and the manifestation of Achievements correspond to the ability of virtue and conduct, and the realization of the enterprise Brand and Achievements corresponds to the realization of social value. The cultivation of learning to be a person begins with overcoming the five bad mentalities of greed, anger, delusion, arrogance, and doubt. Always wanting to take advantage of small bargains, always feeling that one is at a loss, always wanting to get more with less effort is greed, and being envious of others (comparison) is also greed; due to greed, one cannot be satisfied, always feeling wronged, and thus often feeling resentment, which is anger; due to the obscuring of the mind by resentment, one sees things in extremes or one-sidedly, which is delusion; due to delusion, one will be stubborn, arrogant and impolite to people and things, which is arrogance; due to arrogance and prejudice, it is difficult to cooperate with others, difficult to succeed in things, and one does not recognize one's own mistakes, but always feels that others are deliberately targeting oneself, which is doubt. It can be seen that the mentality of greed, anger, delusion, arrogance, and doubt will inevitably lead to estrangement and disharmony with the collective. In my opinion, the introductory lesson of any religious practice is to overcome bad mentalities, overcome extreme self, and cultivate collective values. Integrating into the collective is a long and tortuous process, and its hardships are no less than going to the West to obtain scriptures. Integrating into the collective starts with overcoming oneself, then being conscientious and responsible, then making contributions, then being willing to work hard, until the contradiction between individual and collective interests is unified in the organization, transforming oneself into a "harmonious person", and achieving the persistence and prosperity of personal interests through maintaining the persistence and prosperity of collective interests, becoming a spokesperson for collective interests. Respect, trust, and love, like sowing seeds, although effort does not necessarily guarantee a return, insufficient effort or no effort will certainly not yield any harvest. Making fun of, blaming, complaining, and arrogance and doubt will only diminish our good fortune. Only by "sincere dedication" can we nurture and embrace, allowing the collective vine to remain evergreen, and only then will there be hope for flowering, fruiting, and ripening. The Culture of Hebei Jingzhi is not special; it is consistent with the concept of traditional Chinese Culture and consistent with the concepts of many excellent Cultures. If one cannot integrate into the current collective, in most cases, it will also be difficult to integrate into other collectives. Therefore, even if integrating into the collective has thousands of difficulties and dangers, one can only forge ahead, because integrating into the collective and creating value for the collective is the only way to realize the value of life. What makes life shine is every contribution you make to the collective and society. A life in which collective value and individual value are balanced and unified is a fulfilling life.
