The upgrading project of Euro IV gasoline at Hengyuan Refining Company in Malaysia, using the "EHDS" patented technology of Hebei Jingzhi Technology Co., Ltd., was successfully put into operation.

On November 16, 2022, the Euro IV gasoline upgrading project at the Hengyuan Refinery in Malaysia was successfully started up, producing qualified products. This project uses our company's gasoline extraction and hydro-desulfurization combined desulfurization technology (referred to as "EHDS"), which won the second prize of the National Technological Invention Award. Our company provides a complete process package for pre-hydrogenation, extraction desulfurization, and heavy gasoline hydrogenation, with Global Company as the general contractor. At the request of the owner and Global general contractor, an experienced team of technical experts was sent to the site in July 2022. In the face of the risk of the epidemic, they actively participated in the cooperation of various stages of the device "three checks and four determinations", sealing test, water linkage transportation, and commissioning, and carefully carried out the work.

Our company's patented technology for "desulfurization of liquefied petroleum gas tail gas treatment method and its special equipment" has been applied in Jinan Petrochemical and reported by China Petrochemical News.

Recently, the Jinan Refinery's liquefied gas desulfurization tail gas treatment project was put into use. Employing patented technology, it reduces pollutant emissions from the source, achieving the clean production goal of 'using gas without waste emissions'. This marks the first industrial application of the patented 'Liquefied Gas Mercaptan Removal Tail Gas Treatment Method and Dedicated Equipment' technology within the Sinopec system. Liquefied gas mercaptan tail gas is waste gas produced during the regeneration of the catalyst alkali solution. It has a high hydrocarbon concentration, is highly polluting, has a strong odor, and is highly corrosive; subsequent treatment is a common challenge faced by refining and chemical enterprises. Previously, Jinan Refinery treated mercaptan tail gas by directly discharging it through a low-pressure gas system, posing a risk of pipeline corrosion. To thoroughly solve this problem, based on extensive technical research, Jinan Refinery innovatively selected the patented 'Liquefied Gas Mercaptan Removal Tail Gas Treatment Method and Dedicated Equipment' technology to recover and utilize mercaptan tail gas, replacing compressed air in the alkali solution regeneration process while supplementing pure oxygen to ensure oxygen concentration. This achieves zero emissions of mercaptan tail gas while simultaneously realizing the resource utilization of pollutants. (Sinopec Daily Sun Liyan)
