Li Wenjun, director of the Science and Technology Project Department of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, delivered a report on "The Current Situation and Key Tasks of Technological Innovation in the Petrochemical Industry." In his report, he pointed out that "China's economic development has entered a new normal." It is necessary to rely on innovation-driven development to build a new engine for development.

Wu Qing, Deputy General Manager of the Technology Development Department of CNOOC Group, gave a report on "Intelligent Refinery Construction – Reshaping the New Future of the Petrochemical Industry." Addressing challenges and development trends in the petrochemical industry, he indicated the use of information and intelligent "two-in-one integration" and deepening the application of "Internet +" to drive China's petrochemical industry towards the mid-to-high end and achieve low-carbon, green, and efficient petrochemical production and management decision-making.
Gao Jinsen, director of the State Key Laboratory of Heavy Oil, China University of Petroleum (Beijing), and Wang Jun, dean of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Northeast Petroleum University, respectively, described the situation of production, education, and research, and shared the development and application of new clean production technologies of the two universities.
In his report, Hao Tianzhen, chairman of Hebei Jingzhi Technology Co., Ltd., the organizer of the conference, pointed out: China has a large population, and environmental problems are prominent.
