On the morning of January 10, 2020, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council grandly held the National Science and Technology Awards Conference at the Great Hall of the People. Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, Wang Huning, Han Zheng, and other Party and state leaders attended the conference. Hebei Jingzhi Technology Co., Ltd. and China University of Petroleum (Beijing) jointly developed the "Key Component Directional Separation Technology for FCC Gasoline Meeting National V/VI Upgrades," which won the second prize of the National Technological Invention Award. Mr. Hao Tianzhen, Chairman of the Board, and Mr. Li Dezhong, Head of the R&D Center, attended the conference as award representatives. As a private, small and medium-sized technology enterprise, the company has been focusing on petrochemical desulfurization and energy-saving emission reduction technologies for many years.

The "Key Component Directional Separation Technology for FCC Gasoline Meeting the Upgrade Requirements of National Standards V/VI," jointly developed by Hebei Jingzhi Technology Co., Ltd. and China University of Petroleum (Beijing), won the second prize of the National Technological Invention Award. Mr. Hao Tianzhen, Chairman of the Board, and Mr. Li Dezhong, Head of the R&D Center, attended the conference as award recipients.
As a privately owned small and medium-sized technology enterprise, the company has been focusing on the research and development of petrochemical desulfurization and energy-saving emission reduction technologies for many years, adhering to an innovation-driven development model. In response to major technical challenges faced in the production of National Standards V/VI clean gasoline, such as "deep desulfurization, reasonable olefin control, and octane number assurance," the inventors originally proposed the concept of "key component directional separation." This broke the traditional model of clean gasoline production, successfully developing the "Key Component Directional Separation Technology for FCC Gasoline Meeting the Upgrade Requirements of National Standards V/VI." It cleverly solved the prominent problem and key contradiction of "deep desulfurization and gasoline octane number loss," achieving key component control and clean oil production under the concept of molecular refining.
This technology has been granted 20 Chinese invention patents and 4 international invention patents. 24 academic papers have been published. According to expert appraisal organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, this technology has reached the internationally advanced level and has broad application prospects and promotion value. This technology won the first prize of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation Technological Invention Award in 2018 and has been successfully applied industrially in 7 refineries.
This technology has been successfully applied to the Shell (Malaysia) project. A cooperation agreement has been signed with INVISTA, a subsidiary of Koch Industries in the United States, to authorize overseas promotion, and application intentions have been reached with refineries in the United States and other countries.
