Deodorizing refined liquid SH

Due to the increasing sulfur content in crude oil and the growing use of hydroprocessing, the hydrogen sulfide content in coking dry gas, hydroprocessing recycle hydrogen, and low-pressure gas has significantly increased, with H2S concentrations reaching over 20×104 mg/m3. While MDEA solvent offers several advantages for refinery gas purification, it also has drawbacks: it is easily oxidized and degraded, increasing corrosion; it dissolves a significant amount of heavy hydrocarbons, easily leading to solvent foaming; and its H2S absorption rate rapidly decreases with increasing acid gas load, resulting in unsatisfactory desulfurization under high sulfur loads. The special conditions of low pressure and high sulfur load present significant challenges for desulfurization design and operation.
